Valerie Troutt Projects (VTP) creates multiple music-based platforms for Black people to thrive mentally, physically, and spiritually. By using the art of SongCare, VTP celebrates intergenerational conversation, live performance, and music education through programs including Jazz on the Move, Find Your Light, MoonCandy Live House Music Ensemble, and the Valerie Troutt JazzSoul Project & Trio. VTP hopes to inspire, empower, and develop new frameworks to help build healthy alternatives to the constructs of white America.
